Weekend & last day of "skool"

Friday after "skool" SK and I made some brownies. Can you tell who licked the bowl?
Shep laughing at his sister with chocolate all over her face! Check out those chunky thighs in the bumbo! I think he may be out growing it!
Saturday morning we went to Tumbleweeds for Cole's b-day party. He's one of SK's little friends from the neighborhood. It was such a neat place to have a party. SK had such a great time and didn't want to leave.
This is the look she gave me when I told her it was almost time to leave!
bouncy in the bouncy castle
singing happy birthday (Cole's the fourth one from the left)
little house that SK loved running in and out of
She's just gotten brave enough to walk up the slide.
Today was Sara Kate's last day at her Mom's Morning Out. It was definitely bitter sweet. SK's been going there for a long time and we loved all the people there. It was really nice since the MMO went all summer. She's made so many great friends there and we are so thankful that she was able to be apart of such a great program! Since the drive was too far, the school moved locations in June, we found something that is much closer and I think SK will learn to love it there too.
I thought this was so cute of Naomi & Tyler. Sorry all you see is the back of SK's head!
singing a song for all the parents
sweet girl
she was having a good time even though you can't really tell from the pic!
her class
enjoying the cup cakes & ice cream! such sweet friends!
Jonathan & SK
The other day we were in the car going to SK's new school and out of the blue SK said, "I sure am gonna miss Jonathan and he sure is gonna miss me." Isn't that so cute? I was talking to Jonathan's mom today and she said that he talks about SK all the time too. So, SK is very sad about leaving Jonathan behind at the old school. I asked them to take a picture and Jonathan's mom told him to put his arm around SK. Let's just say that since we've been home, SK has looked at this picture alot!! Eric wasn't too happy! :)

Our week so far

This past weekend was full of sun & swimming! We spent all day Saturday at the pool and then went back that night for a late night swim. SK loves the water and has really gotten great at swimming.
SK & Naomi
Here they are resting after their late night swim
Shepherd couldn't be happier, he has the phone & the remote!
look at these two sitting up all by themselves, although Shep looks a little concerned about it!
don't let this look fool you, usually Shep is crying when he's on his tummy!
Here's my sweet girl on her first day at her new school. She started a Spanish immersion program this week! Hola! She's already learned so much, yesterday my friend Mary asked her what she's learned at school. SK then counted to 6 in Spanish. I was so proud! Mary then asked her what that meant and she replied, " Can I go to the bathroom?" :)
Can you tell she's excited about her dancing class?
my sweet, sweet boy!

All the girls loved their new dance class. SK, Abby, Naomi & Zoe are all doing this class together and they had the best time. We were doing only gymnastics at the Little Gym but now we do tap & ballet for 30 min. and then they go to the gym and do gymnastics for 30 min. It really works out great and the girls had so much fun together! Sorry the pics. aren't that clear, I was taking them through the glass!

This is what the boys do while their sisters are in class!

August 14-16

hanging out in Shep's room
love the rolls!
Last weekend our friends Andy & Kelly Muck had a birthday party for Anna Beth & Will. We met their family through Daniel & Rachel. Daniel & Andy work in the ER together and they were both deployed together too. Kelly was actually pregnant with their third child the same time we were pregnant with the boys. They are such nice people. They recently moved out in the country where they have their horses and lots of land. It was nice to go out there, it made me feel like I was back in GA! The birthday party was so fun, they had horse rides, a bouncy castle, magic show put on by Andy, bbq, & snow cones. Sara Kate had the best time. She wouldn't ride the horses but she did let Rachel hold her up to see one! ;) Enjoy the pics!
Naomi getting a better look at the horses
Shep taking a break inside from the heat! There were so many babies at the party. Shep was trying to pick up all the girls!
Sara Kate watching the magic show
singing happy birthday & ready to eat some cake
Yum...
I love how SK thinks she needs to pull up her shirt in the water, I guess she thought it might get wet!
they loved walking through the water, very nice for a hot day!
what better way to end the party!
I was so glad that I had my camera at church on Sunday. The girls learned about the Armor of God in their Sunday school class. They were all decked out in their armor. I knew SK wouldn't leave it on for long so I was glad that I was able to get a pic!
This is SK's favorite thing to do after church. She LOVES playing with the steering wheels. She has to do it every time before we can leave.
just one more pic!
leaving church
this has to be my favorite pic of Luke & Shep
Nomi & SK in their favorite outfits... p.j.'s!

Beginning of August

Shepherd holding Luke, I love the look on Luke's face!
Now, look at the look on Shep's face!
Luke giving Shepherd kisses. I'm sure they'll love this picture when we show it to them in a couple of years!
at Benihana's for Nathan's b-day
all the boys
I told SK that I was going to take a picture of her crying, she stopped long enough to smile for the picture. :)
can't help but want to squeeze those cheeks!
poor Shep, he spit up all over his outfit!
love this picture of the three of them. Jacob is 2 weeks older than Shep and Shep is 2 weeks older than Luke.
Right after this picture, Shep said one of his first words, Help! I promise, Naomi heard it too!
The princesses eating their food. Thanks again Ellie & Laci for having us over!
we wondered why it was so quiet in the house and then we found the girls sitting down and watching a movie.
Laci bought the girls flip flops and balloons to make their shoes. Isn't that a cute idea? It was easy and they turned out so cute, the girls love them!

So, after we got back from Laci's I was busy cooking for a friend who is on bed rest. She has twin girls who are 3 and is pregnant with a little boy. Anyway, I was busy cooking when I noticed that my cabinet door with my spices was opened. I didn't think too much about it. Well, later on I walked back to the guest bathroom and could smell spices through the door. (the door was closed which was strange b/c it is usually opened) When I opened the door, this is what I found. I looked at SK and said, "Did you do this?" and with a big smile on her face said, "Isn't it funny?" There were spices on in the sink and on the floor. You can't really tell from the pics, but there were at least 4 containers that were completely empty!
