Doesn't this look relaxing? He stayed in there for about 5 minutes and then Nana came and got him and took him upstairs! The next picture shows what he did the entire time we were at the beach! He and Papa had a great time together, this is one of the reasons why he is so spoiled now! :)

We had such a wonderful time visiting our family and friends back in GA. Sara Kate enjoyed seeing her family so much and this was Shepherd's first time in GA. Wow, what a time we had! We started off our trip by driving to Florida to see my parents, my sister and her family for a week. At first Eric and I were wondering if we had lost our minds by driving all the way, without stopping to Florida. Sara Kate and Shepherd were such troopers. They did awesome! We left Texas around 2:00 Friday afternoon and got to the beach around 2:00 the next day. It took us about 24 hrs. to drive straight. It was so worth it! We did stop Saturday morning in Lake City, FL, to meet Eric's Mom for breakfast. She took Abby for us so that was nice to see her and have a little break. We had so much fun with my family, we made lots of sweet memories. One memory that wasn't so sweet was that Tara got sick on Wednesday with a virus and then Eric and I got it on Friday. :( Luckily none of the kids got it. Tara, we forgive you! :) We were so sad b/c we were going to stop in St. Augustine on Friday and see my dear friend Holly and her husband Adam. We were also going to go to the beach with Eric's family that weekend but since we were sick we didn't get to do that either. We were so bummed b/c we had been looking forward to that for a long time. Oh well, we still had a great time and made lots of great memories! I took a ton of pictures so it may take me a while to download them all but here's just a taste of our trip. Enjoy!
