Let me set the scene, SK was in my bathroom with her potty chair. She had her buggy full of dolls and of course, Kitty. I was putting on my makeup and watching her through the mirror. She first set her doll on the potty and I heard her say "Listen baby! You can do it!" I always tell her to listen so she'll hopefully stop talking and concentrate on peeing. :) We've been trying to potty train here lately without much success. Then she threw the baby off the potty and put Kitty on there. She then said, "Kitty, you can do it! Concentrate." I thought that was the funniest thing. I guess they really do pay attention to all you say! She continued to put every single doll and animal on the potty. It was priceless watching her be the little mama.
Yesterday SK was in the living room watching Mickey Mouse and I was in the kitchen fixing her breakfast. Abby heard something outside and started barking. Sara Kate yelled, "Abby, hush! Listen to Mickey!!" I think Abby was surprised at Sara Kate and turned and looked at her and then SK said in her sweetest voice, "Good girl Abby".
Sara Kate loves to go to Target and "pay money". I usually let her hand the cashier my money and she loves it. Well, today we went and when we got ready to check out SK said, "I pay money Mommy" so I gave her my card to hand to the cashier. When she handed it to her SK said, "Mam, I need my receipt." The girl thought she was so cute and just laughed. When the cashier handed the receipt to SK, SK said, "thanks and have a good day!" I cracked up. She's really gotten into telling everyone to have a good day.
