Bye, Bye Baby Bed

Well, I knew this day would eventually come.  Sara Kate has out grown her baby bed. :(  I have to say that it does make me sad.  My baby is no longer a baby but a toddler!  It all started yesterday during nap time.  I put her in her bed, turned on her music, made sure she had Kitty and blanket and walked out of the room.  The garbage truck came by and within a few minutes I heard her crying.  I was about to go in her room when I walked in the living room and guess who met me?  Sara Kate!  I couldn't believe that she had gotten out of her bed, opened up her bedroom door and walked into the living room.  Before I could say anything she said, "Hey Mama!" with a huge grin on her face.  I said, "Did you climb out of your bed" and she replied, "yeah".  I was in shock because this is the same child that has never climbed on furniture or showed any interest in climbing at all.  She is now sleeping in her pack and play until Eric and I can go and get her a big girl bed which we will probably go and do today.  It will be hard on me to move her baby bed out of her room since that will definitely mean she's getting older.  I can't believe my baby is growing up!  She's so much fun and fills my life with such joy.  She's so fun and makes me laugh daily.  Thank you Jesus for my little toddler!

We're Still Here!

Wow! It's been a long time since I last blogged! December was a long time ago. :) It really isn't my fault that I haven't blogged, it's Eric's. Our computer, the one that I know how to work and download pictures on, died. :( It was a very sad day. Well, Eric has a laptop so I've been able to check my email and that kind of thing but haven't been able to download pics. I've been very sad about it since Sara Kate has been growing and doing all kinds of fun things and I want to post pics. of it. Eric has promised me that he will figure out how to download pics. again and then we'll be in business! :) Yay! Sorry I don't have pictures to share but here's an update on SK. She LOVES to color and wants to do it all the time. She also talks all day long, I have no idea where she gets that from! She loves going to her Mothers Morning Out program and loves her little friends there. She wakes up in the morning and says, "skool?" When I drop her off she says, "bye Mommy, see ya later." It's so sweet. She goes on Mon. & Fri. which is nice b/c I have a little time to myself. I love her more than life itself but it is nice to have a little "me time".
We're in GA right now for Eric's brother's wedding. He and his fiance Elisa are getting married April 5. Sara Kate is a flower girl so I'm anxious to see how she does during the wedding. I'm thinking she's going to stand there and scream and cry but we'll hope for the best! Her dress is so pretty and she looks like a doll in it. I'll take tons of pictures so hopefully I'll be able to post those soon.
