Sara Kate's News...

4th of July Fun

Every year our neighborhood does a 4th of July parade. All the kids decorate their bikes, cars or wagons and walk down the neighborhood. They have a fire truck & even police escorts! Sara Kate thought the parade was just for her. :) It's so fun b/c everyone in the neighborhood comes out for it. People stand along the street waving and cheering on all the kids. Above is a picture of Naomi and Sara Kate waiting in line for the parade to begin.

That afternoon after the girls had their naps, we went to Willie Nelson's Picnic. It's a concert that starts at 11:30 am and goes until 11:00 pm. We didn't get there until later, we knew the girls wouldn't last that long! We sat in the family lawn section which was so nice b/c there weren't that many people in it. The girls were able to run & play and were so good all night. We got to see Los Lonely Boys, Ray Price, Merle Haggard & Willie Nelson.
