Our sweet girl

Everyday I wake up and feel so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl. From the moment Sara Kate wakes up in the morning she is talking. I wonder who she gets that from! I hear her on the monitor and a big smile immediately comes to my lips. When I walk in her room she is always peeking through the bars and just grins up at me. Then she sees Abby, who is always right behind me, and she starts barking. Well, it sounds more like "who, who" but I know she wants to get down and see Abby. I sit in her chair and just love all over her. I thank God for her every morning. What a blessing she is! She only lets me love on her for just a minute and then she's down and running all over. It's hard to believe she's 17 mos. I remember sitting in that same chair in her room before she was born just praying to God that He would bless me with a healthy baby. I'm so thankful for her and the sweet little toddler that she is.

Here is a picture I took of her today. I bought her a juice box holder and she loves it. She really loves to drink out of straws. Enjoy the pictures!

Playing on the sidewalk

Sara Kate had a blast playing on the sidewalk with Aiden. You can't really tell from the pictures, but she had blue chalk all over her face. She was entertained with that for almost 30 minutes! It was great to sit outside in the beautiful weather and watch Sara Kate play with her little friend. :)

Hi everyone! We hope to get a new camera soon so we can take some pictures of our little cutie. Sara Kate is sooo much fun now. She loves to play with our next door neighbor Aiden who is 3. Yesterday Sara Kate and Aiden played with side walk chalk on the sidewalk. They had the best time. Sara Kate had a cute pink bow in her hair with blue chalk all over her face. She was definitely a sight to see. Kathy, Aiden's mom, took some pictures so hopefully she will send those to me and I'll post.
Sara Kate also loves books and wants me to read them to her all the time. She especially loves the ones that have buttons for her to push. Her absolute favorite book is a Baby Einstein book that has mirrors on the inside. She'll just look at herself and smile. :) She walks EVERYWHERE now and loves to close all the door in the house. I have to be careful and make sure the bathroom doors are closed b/c she loves to throw anything and everything in the toilet. Kitty & binkies have been cleaned many times! ;)
