Friday morning I went for my 39 wk. checkup. My blood pressure was a little high so Eric asked if they would consider inducing me since my Mama would be out here and since my blood pressure was high. I didn't really think they would but before I knew it, I was laying in bed with an i.v. hooked up. We were thrilled to go ahead and have him. I knew Mama would be here the next day and I was so excited to know when little Shepherd would arrive. Shepherd Taylor Flynt was born at 2:39 a.m. on Feb. 28. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 10.3 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. Black hair and blue eyes. Thank you Lord for a safe delivery!

We had the nurse bring Sara Kate a baby doll too. She even wrapped up baby doll Sandy and gave it to her. She told SK that the baby was born that day at Wilford Hall, just like her baby brother. SK was so excited and LOVES her baby!

How Great is Our God!!! We are praising the Lord for your fearfully and wonderfully made little Shep! Love him alreday! I just have to say...is that a little Eric or what!? Can't wait to see more pictures in the days to come.
